To support Canadian students with learning disabilities and gifts in their pursuit of post-secondary education.

APPLY FOR OUR SCHOLARSHIP

THE VALUE

We are offering both financial aid as well as tutoring support for each recipient.
A $9,000 value scholarship over 4 years.

Breakdown

  • $1,000 per year (renewable up to 4 years)

  • We have an incredible roster of virtual tutors with expertise in various subjects. Students can choose which ones align with their curriculum and schedules.

    Enhanced Learning Credits (for a 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree)

    Year 1: 40 tutoring hours
    Year 2: 30 tutoring hours
    Year 3: 20 tutoring hours
    Year 4: 1 0 tutoring hours

    Enhanced Learning Credits (for a 2 Year Diploma)

    Year 1: 50 tutoring hours
    Year 2: 50 tutoring hours

WHO IS IT FOR?

Canadian students with a documented learning disability and gift who are applying to post-secondary school.

Breakdown

  • Graduating high school students applying to be a full time student in a post-secondary institution.

  • Nationality: Canadian

    Location: Post-secondary institution in Canada

    Income: No preference

    What is a learning disability?

    A persistent impairment in literacy and/or math. It is a disorder that affects people’s ability to either interpret what they see and hear or link information from different parts of the brain.

    Types: Dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia

Renewal Requirements

Passing grade for each subject
Student cannot miss more than 2 tutoring sessions each term (without rescheduling at least 24 hours before session time) or their scholarship in the following year will not be renewed.
